I really like Jade. She reminds me a LOT of a friend I had growing up. This friend introduced me to a lot of cool things, like Dungeons and Dragons, Anime and martial arts. She, however, as far as I know, did not have any sort of spirit dog.

Anyway speaking of friends and awesome people, this was drawn as a gift for my awesome neighbor Athena at #Kintoki-con. She was dressed up as Jade one day and Sollux (another Homestuck character) the next day. She and her table mate Demetria (who was John both days) were super cute.
