I did this a while back for a good friend of mine, Tyler Coughlin. These are two characters of his own creation, upon whom he has based some unique fashion designs.
I did this piece in exchange for a cosplay dress he made for last year's Fanime convention.

Tyler is an accomplished and incredibly talented designer. He may even be open for commissions, depending on his work schedule. You can check him out at:

Oooh, this is so pretty! I really like the fire fairy! (Are they faries? xD) The ice one's pretty awesome too. Overall, love the awesome colors! I can't really believe they're markers that did this.

Thanks! They are not quite fairies, although it is 100% possible that they might be fairies... they are two magical ladies based on outfits designed by a friend of mine who makes costumes.
I don't have markers to thank, but also colored pencil...

I'm still shocked by the colors in this one, especially for traditional work. One day I shall paint this well...one daaaay...

I have a horrible confession to make... I used markers for this one. XD Copics are great if you're not sure about using paints and brushes, especially since your colors are pre-mixed! Unfortunately copics are probably more expensive and they fade pretty quickly if exposed to sunlight. So, I guess I should say that keep painting, painting is good ;)
