Otherkinds, my online comic
It's been keeping me from posting any artwork to my gallery for some time. In the Otherkinds news update, you will find quite a few links to many of the amazing people I found at A.P.E. I am way behind on my correspondence, but I really do want to keep up with all of you that I met at the Con. What an awesome community! It's been my favorite Con so far... but anyway please visit Otherkinds too, it is my baby.
Life has been very busy. Lots of change happening. I am very productive though! I am working on commissions up the wazoo and also trying to get Megamoth.net all nice and shiny for its (hopefully) new wave of exposure. In terms of the class, I am hoping to move all class updates over to the Class Site, which is also due for some intense construction.
But until then, I will still have a few updates about the class here. Such as:
-We still need artwork and avatars for the aforementioned Class site!! Get ahold of me in class or email me an questions you have about that.
-Make sure you know what Moth/Miyazaki character you want to be for Fanime. Don't miss the post-halloween costume sales!
-If you started a comic for A.P.E./Fanime and didn't finish it, the finished edition is due BEFORE CHRISTMAS! We are going to start hitting all local comic shops to see if they can sell the self-published editions for us. No waiting for conventions anymore!
-Next convention: WonderCon. April 2-4, 2010. At the moment we have an artist table. Hopefully I can upgrade to a small press table, but it's not very likely.
-FINALLY, I really want to do the Evangelion marathon soon! Since I want no one to get left behind, I want everyone who wants to participate to post times/dates they can make it in the next month!
That's all for now... oh, and I hope everyone had a good halloween! I had a rockin' good time... I am almost considering permanently doing my hair in a pomp...
